Unfortunately, after an accident, the jewel is broken into hundreds of shards and scattered across Japan.
She is also in possession of the Shikon Jewel, a gem that has the power to grant wishes or make demons stronger. After he wakes up from his magical sleep, Inuyasha and Kagome discover that Kagome is the reincarnation of a priestess Inuyasha once knew. She befriends a half demon named Inuyasha, who was betrayed in the past by an evil demon, named Naraku, and sealed to a tree. Some are evil, while other demons are much kinder. In the feudal era, Kagome discovers that beasts called demons still roam the earth. When she wakes up, Kagome finds that the well has transported her back into the feudal era of Japan.
